We are excited to host this skills-only competition at Pocahontas County High School on January 6, 2024.

If you are interested in coming to Pocahontas County and seeing more of the area,there are a few exciting places to visit nearby.  These include:

Finally, if you and your team would like to spend the night in the area before or after the event, there are a variety of housing options.  You and your team will be responsible for arranging you own housing, however we below is a list of possibilities:

  • Green Bank Observatory (15 minute drive away) has a number of motel-style rooms available on a first come, first served basis.  The cost of the rooms range from $75-$90/night and then have single and double rooms available.  Rooms at GReen bank Observatory are reserved by contacting Mark Barnes at [email protected]. Please inform Mark that you are coming as a part of the PCHS Vex Robotics competition and he will work with you on rooms

Code of Conduct

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Cancellation/changein times due to bad weather will be announce 24 hours beforethe start of the event.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Refunds will be provided to all teams

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: there will be no refunds, although the registration may be switched to another team.
