Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Política de emergencia/mal tiempo

In the event of inclement weather and the tournament is unable to go as scheduled, an alternate date will be examined. And if an alternate date can not be scheduled, A refund will be issued except for the $5 RobotEvents fee. Each team(s) may select to apply their registration to a future event in which that team(s) has not already registered for. 

Refund and Payment Policies

 The coaches/mentors are responsible for evaluating the schedules and communicating with their teams about other activities that may conflict with this date. We will do our best to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.

Payment Deadline: 

Payments for this tournament are due Friday, January 12, 2024, at 9:00 AM CST. 

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

Refunds will be available up to two weeks before the event minus the $5 RobotEvents Fee. 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event, then chooses to withdraw or not attend. 

Withdrawing from the tournament? Refunds will be available up to two weeks before the event, minus the $5 RobotEvents fee. 

 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
