Información general
This fall season the West Michigan Robotics Event Partners have joined together to run the fourth annual "Mega League" where up to 125 teams can register to complete. Area event partners will host 20+ league nights over eight weeks and then top ranked teams will compete in separate state qualifying HS and MS finals tournaments. All awards will be given at the finals evets, so no awards will be given from this event - please see the details below.

With over 20 league session dates, this is a GREAT value to all teams.
Teams must be registered in this event to compete. Event date selection will open on September 18 on a first come, first served basis. Registered teams will be emailed the information to select their dates and a schedule will be published online. (Note: Bulk date selection can be done for larger organizations - simply email [email protected] for a spreadsheet template.)

League Rules
<ML01> We will follow all competition rules of the latest Over Under Game Manual.
<ML02> Teams may request to compete on more nights. Teams with less than four nights completed will be given preference otherwise it’s based on first request.
<ML03> Schedule change requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before a league night.
<ML04> Some event dates are reserved for middle school teams, noted at MS Only.
Skills
<ML05> Skills will be offered starting at event 8. Teams will be allowed a maximum of three drivers skills and three programming skills per league night as time permits.
Finals Qualifications
<ML06> There will be separate finals event for both the middle and high school ages.
<ML07> The top 32 teams will be invited based on the combined ranking (by average win points/match) of all of the league nights as determined by the Vex Tournament Manager software.
<ML08> To qualify for the finals, teams are required to compete on at least four league nights.
<ML09> Teams must also select at least one night from each Session Block (A,B,C)
<ML10> The finals will be scheduled across two nights. All league scores will be reset. The first night will have five qualification rounds, the second night will have two qualification rounds, elimination alliance selection, elimination rounds, and awards.
Finals
Both the MS and HS event championship finals (separate events) will be held in Grandville on 28-Nov-2023 and 29-Nov-2023. The top 32 qualify.

Voluntario
We have various positions for volunteers ranging from novice to expierienced. You do not need to be a technical person to volunteer for the robotics events.
If you have experience Refereeing or with Robot Inspections please contact your closest EP directly.

Refund and Payment Policies
All requests for refunds must be made 3 weeks prior to the event. Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 2 months following the event.
Event payments are expected when you register for the event and must be completed (showing PAID) a min of three weeks prior to the event date. Unpaid teams will be removed from the event to allow teams on my wait list to register. Please contact [email protected] or any event partner if there are special considerations that need to be made.
