Información general
Invitational League
This league is sponsored by the San Joaquin County Office of Education. All VEX teams from San Joaquin County are welcome to join the League. If we have space available after accommodating all San Joaquin County teams, we will accept teams from outside San Joaquin County. If you want to be considered for an open spot in the league, add your team to the Waitlist at the lower left.
AM & PM Leagues
We have two Delta Leagues meeting on the same dates: an AM league and a PM league. This AM league meets in the mornings, 7:30-11:30 AM. If you want the PM league, it's a different page on Robot Events.
League Meets
Scrimmage: The meet on 9/16 is a practice session - bring whatever robot you have and try it out on the field in unofficial practice matches. If you don't have a robot yet, come watch others and get ideas. This meet will run from 9:30-11:30 am.
Ranking Meets: The meets on 10/14, 11/18, 12/9, and 1/27 are for Qualifying Rounds. Match results will go into the League Rankings, which will be cumulative over all four meets. Teams must participate in at least three of these four meets to qualify for the league finals.
League Finals: The meet on 2/24 is for Alliance Selection and the Elimination Rounds to determine the League Champions. We will also have Robot Skills matches and Judging on this date.
Team Expectations
1. To be eligible for the League Finals and Awards, teams must participate in at least 60% of League ranking matches (3 of 4 ranking meets).
2. Teams must always be accompanied by the team Advisor or a designated adult at any League event.
3. Teams will check in no later than 8:15 am. Teams must contact the event partner if they are running late or they will be removed from the team list for that meet. Teams will stay for the whole event once checked in.
4. The League is a friendly competition environment, and teams are encouraged to help other teams be successful.
5. All student participants and student visitors to a league meet must have submitted a complete Fablab Permission Form before entry to the meet. The form covers all meets, and just needs to be submitted once at the first meet the student attends. The form can be downloaded from the Documents section of this event page.
League Results
Results from each League meet, and cumulative results, will be posted here on our Robot Events page under the "Results" tab.
