Welcome to the Bridgeland Bear HS Over Under Open. Thank you for registering and we hope you will have fun! Volunteers are what make VEX events happen.  Our biggest need for each event is judges and queuing, no experience is needed.  Volunteers receive lunch, and snacks throughout the day. If you have any questions regarding the tournament or would like to volunteer, please contact Devin Murphy at [email protected].

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

7:45 am Volunteer training for Referees, Judges, and field staff

8:00 am Inspection starts

9:00  am Drivers meeting

9:30 am Skills begin

9:30 am Qualifications begin

12:00 pm Lunch

12:30 pm Matches resume

2:00 pm Skills Ends

2:10 pm Qualifications end

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be sent. 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

A team may be transferred to another Bridgeland Open Event if notified within 2 weeks. 

Judging Format

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date. A submission deadline is scheduled for 1/13/2024 (ahead of the event date). No notebooks will be accepted the day of the tournament.
