Información general

Picture with layout of school grounds posted. Busses must use entrance C. Drop of students in the bus loop by door "4" Cafeteria. Cafeteria is where the crew pits are located. All other vehicles use entrance A and come through door "3" or go to the buss loop and use the same door "4".

Lunch/Snack/drink options. Concession, run by our HOSA students, stands open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Items offered: Candy, Chips, Water, Coke Products, Gatorade, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for breakfast, Marco's Pizza for Lunch (if you want to place an order, contact Jeremy Searson at [email protected]), Nothing Bundt Cakes for Lunch. Please support our hardworking HOSA students, as their only other source of income for going to Nationals (which they do every year) are the robotics events organized at River Bluff HS. 

No food or drinks in the Event Arena (gym).

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Política de emergencia/mal tiempo

We will always follow the advice of the state's emergency management service.  In the event of a weather event, the tournament will be cancelled.  In the event the tournament is cancelled, refunds will be given. Cancellation will be communicated no later than 24 hours before doors open.

Refund and Payment Policies

All payments must be received by Oct 27, 2023. If payment not received by that time, your team will be moved to the waiting list.

No refunds will be given to teams that do not show up.

Refunds will only be given if we cancel the event. The refund amount will be $75.  Finally, refunds will not be issued until after the event and all payments have been received from RobotEvents.com.

Judging Format

.

  • Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event.
  • Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Deadline: Thursday, Nov 2, 11:59 p.m.
