General Info

Arrival: Upon arrival, please be sure to check in at the front desk to submit your VEX Release forms and receive your tournament packet. If your organization has not paid for the tournament yet, please do so online as soon as possible, or bring a check the day of address to DVHS Robotics. Teams that have not paid the registration fee by the start of the tournament will NOT be allowed to compete. After checking-in, you should find your pit, which will be located in the aux gym this year, and have your robot inspected (in the main gym) as soon as possible. In order to compete, your robot must meet all VEX legal standards and pass inspection. Inspection will begin at 7:00 am and end promptly at 8:15 am. All engineering notebooks will be collected for judging when the robot has completed inspection and will be returned around the end of the tournament. We would like to remind you that check-in closes at 8:15, as we must make match schedules as early as possible. If your team is running late, you MUST email AND or you will be removed from the tournament. You can view our concessions menu here:

Queuing: Our tournament this year will be using queue runners to INFORM teams THREE matches ahead of time, to account for the walk from the pits to the fields. Thus, teams will arrive TWO matches before their match and be placed “on deck”. Once that match is complete, the team will be moved up to “standby” (one match before the team’s match). Then they will be moved onto the field when ready. If the team is not ready, cannot be found at their table, or does not show up to the queue tables, the match WILL be run without them. We strongly encourage that each team has at least one person stay at their pit to make sure that the team knows when they have been to queue.  We want to make it clear that NO team will be allowed to replay matches for any reason other than field and/or technical problems.
