General Info

Welcome to  the Monroe County Fair 2021-2022 "Tipping Point" VRC MI Season Opener,

The Monroe County Fair after a one-year abscence due to SARS-CoV-2 is returning for 2021. Once again they will be operating an early VRC tournament for the 2021-2022 "Tipping Point" season. At the time of this posting Covid-19 restrictions are being rescinded. It is not known yet what restrictions will be in place for the event. We are highly hopeful that the event will be just like 2019 event. The Monroe County Fair event will be operating for the sixth time. Watch this space for updates as they become available. This is the first stop on the way to the 2022 World Championship in Dallas TX.

Update:

It is now confirmed that the Monroe County Fair will not have any Covid related retrictions. This means that the fair event will be operating at a normal basis. If teams have a special request (social distancing, other concerns) let the organizer know. Masks can still be used if individuals or teams desire. They are not required or expected. The 2021-2022 season will be a more normal experience. The competitive robotic community has been waiting for this since March of 2020.

Generous sponsor support has again provided for teams of up to four students with 2 coaches to have fair entry tickets.

See you soon.

Have a VEXellent day
