Join us for a mid-season tournament at our Applied Tech Winter Showdown.

We will be enjoying the beautiful Arizona weather with outdoor pits. So bring your canopies, and show off your robotics skills as you soak in some sunshine.

*Indoor pit area will be provided if the weather is not cooperative

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Política de emergencia/mal tiempo

The event will happen regardless of weather. Outdoor pits will be used unless the weather is uncooperative and then we will provide indoor pit areas.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

all but the $5 RobotEvents fee will be refunded

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

a refund will only be offered if a replacement team can be found before the close of registration

If there are extenuating circumstances, please contact us and consideration will be given on a case by case basis

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
