Welcome to Foothill Robotics' first-ever VEX V5 Robotics Competition!
We will have Two competition fields, One practice field, and One skills field available for teams.

Arrival:
Follow the venue map to locate the small gym. Enter it and complete check-in + inspection. Ensure you have your Participant Release Forms submitted online or at check-in. After inspection, head to the large gym to find your pit. Teams must be checked in and inspected by 8:30 or dropped from the schedule.

Judging:
Teams may sign up for their judging interview during check-in or at the pit admin. Judges will visit team pits at their designated time for interviews.
We accept both digital and physical notebook submissions. Digital notebooks are due Thursday, November 7th, at 9:00 pm PST. Physical notebooks must be submitted at check-in. Late submissions will not be accepted.

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.
For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Política de emergencia/mal tiempo
The event is hosted indoors and should not be affected by weather.
In case of an emergency, the Event Partner will reach out to coaches through email. Please make sure your contact information on RobotEvents is up-to-date.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Teams will be given a full refund minus a $5 RobotEvents processing fee.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Refunds will not be provided.
Unpaid registrations:
Unpaid registrations will be moved to the waitlist after the payment deadline to make room for waitlisted teams.

Judging Format
In-Person Judging / Digital Engineering Notebook Submission -Team Interviews will be judged in person on event day. Teams must submit a digital copy of their engineering notebook by 11/7 at 9:00 PM PST. Late submissions will not be accepted.
