Información de viaje

Unfortuntetly, we could not secure a block of rooms at the local hotels but we would recommend anything in the San Dimas, La Verne, Claremont, Walnut, areas.  There is also a Double Tree near Cal Poly Pomona that is only about a 10 minute drive.  I would avoid Pomona unless it is right at the Fairplex Fairgrounds.

Webcast

The event will be live streamed at http://youtube.damien-hs.edu/

Judging Format

We are planning on Remote Judging for both Interviews and Engineering Notebooks. Engineering notebooks are due Feb. 10th, 2025 for teams that have registered before that date.  If your team qualifies after the date of March 1st, Engineering notebooks are due March 6th.

  •  Online interviews will be March 1st and  March 9th.  Teams will be sent information on how to sign up for an interview time slot.
  • In-person 2nd interviews will occur on Saturday, March 15th 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Note: Not all teams will receive a second interview.

VEX Worlds Qualification

This event has been approved to still qualify to VEX Worlds even if it takes place after the March 10th deadline for Event Regional Championshipships.

All Deadlines for VEX Worlds will still be held:

  • Deadline for registering for VEX Worlds is March 25th.
  • All teams must be marked “paid” (funds fully received) by March 31, 2024.
