Welcome to the 24-25 Mahoning Valley VEX V5RC League! This league is open to all schools in the Mahoning Valley. This league will have 4 qualification evenings and that will run on selected dates during the week. The league final event will be held during the school day and is open to spectators, including school administration and school board members. Spectators are allowed at all events and events will be streamed live on the VRC 7882 YouTube channel. The cost of the league is free, however teams are responsible to provide their own food/snacks during league evening events. A buffet lunch will be provided at the league final at a per-person cost to be determined later in the season. Events are to be held at MCCTC (unless registered schools would like to host at their venue- tbd).

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

All league qualification rounds will be held from 4pm to 8pm in the Engineering Lab at MCCTC. The league final will be from 9am to 1pm in the Joyce Brooks Center at MCCTC.

Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
No refunds.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
No refunds.
Health and Safety Policies
Safety glasses are required of all participants that will be at the competition fields.
Webcast
Events will be live-streamed on the VRC 7882 YouTube channel.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the Final Event of the League. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges. Please have electronic notebooks updated and printed before arrival.
