Información general
A coaches/advisors hospitality room will be set up, but WILL NOT provide a meal at lunch. Snacks, drinks and bottled water will be made available for coaches and advisors. Please help us keep student competitors in the contest area. The hospitality room is for coaches, advisors and volunteers only.
Concessions will be available starting at 9:00 am.
Digital notebooks will be submitted utilizing the instructions in the "Judging Format" link on the left side of this page. Please note the deadline to submit the digital notebook. Notebooks received after the deadline specified will NOT be considered for judged awards and will not be reviewed. No exceptions.
We look forward to seeing your team at the event. We are certainly looking forward to the intensity and camaraderie of these contests. We ask that you remind your team members of the code of conduct well in advance of the event so we all have an enjoyable time during the contest.

The Robot Skills field(s) will be used only for Programming and Driver skills events and will open at 8:15 am.
Teams CANNOT conduct robot skills runs until AFTER passing inspection.
Do not use the skills fields for practice at any time (even during lunch).

If this event is cancelled due to inclement weather it will not be rescheduled and registration fees paid will be applied to a future regular-season event held on the Wallace State Community College - Hanceville campus.
If the event is cancelled all team advisors will be emailed at the email address they have provided to the robotevents.com website. It is your responsibility to ensure that your email address is correct in this portal to ensure you receive any and all messaging about this event.
The decision to cancel this event due to inclement weather will be made no later than noon CST on Friday, January 24th and email notification will be sent no later than 12:15 pm CST on that same date.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
We are unable to offer refunds to teams that have completed payment. In the event the EP Needs to cancel this event after payment has been made, that money can be applied to a future event hosted by Wallace State Community College on its campus.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
We are unable to offer refunds for this event. Because of this, teams should wait to make payment until they are certain they can and want to attend while being mindful of the payment due date. Any team unpaid by payment due date will be removed from the registered team list without notification and placed on the waiting list.
If a team has to withdraw from competition after payment is made, Wallace State will consider transferring the registration fee to another Wallace State hosted event or to another team of the withdrawing Sponsor's choosing.
Judging Format
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
- The digital engineering notebook submission is due no later than noon, Wednesday, January 22, 2025 to be considered for judged awards. Notebooks received after that time will not be reviewed or eligible for judged awards. No physical notebooks will be accepted the day of the contest.
