Welcome to The Loneliest Tournament in America.  We are super excited to have you join us in Ely, Nevada, at the beginning of the Loneliest Road in America.  Did you travel on Highway 50 to get here?  Engineering notebooks will be due on October 1st and will be judged digitally before the event.  Every team will be interviewed in person on the day of the event.  We are opening up for inspection and skills runs on the evening of Friday, October 11th, if you would like to join us.  If you won't be here on the 11th, you can get inspected on the morning of the 12th.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

8:00 - 9:00 a.m. - Skills open for inspected teams

9:00 a.m. - Opening Ceremony

9:30 a.m. - Qualification Matches begin

12:00 -12:45 p.m. - Lunch break

12:45 - 3:30 p.m. - Qualification Matches

3:45 p.m. -  Alliance Selection

4:15 p.m. - Finals Matches

5:00 p.m. -  Awards Ceremony

6:00 p.m. - Venue Closes

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

All registration fees will be refunded.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

If the cancellation happens before September 1, all funds (except the five dollar RECF fee) will be refunded.  After September 1, no refunds will be given.

 

Judging Format

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
