General Info

Viewpoint School is excited to host the Clash in the Canyon, a VEX Robotics high school tournament for the 24-25 game HighStakes.  The event will be open to 28 high school teams. Winning specific awards at this event will qualify teams to attend the California State Championship. This event will be limited to four teams per organization. Once the event is full, a waiting list will be created for teams who were unable to register. This waiting list will also be available for you to sign up additional teams, but precedence will be given to schools/organizations that are not yet registered. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Refund and Payment Policies

  • Event payments are expected when you register for this event and must be completed a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the event date.  
  • Unpaid teams will be removed from the event, allowing space for teams on the wait list.  
  • Due to the financial commitment on the part of the event venue, no refunds will be possible.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.

The submission deadline for digital notebooks will be Friday the 27th of september, 2024 by 5:00 pm. 

Unfortunately, we can not make any exceptions to this deadline.
