Información general

Hyundai Motors Manufacturing Alabama presents the SCORE Showdown V5RC Signature Event at Auburn University.

This unique event offers High School students the opportunity to compete against the hemisphere's best teams, while offering the opportunity for them to begin exploring their college options! More detailed information will be sent in the registration email.

The Auburn-Opelika area is ideally located in Southeast Alabama, approximately 100 miles from both the Atlanta & Birmingham airports. Attractions include Chewacla State Park, with over 600 acres to explore, and the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art which features changing exhibition galleries. Auburn is also home to Auburn University, with more than 150 undergraduate majors spread over 12 colleges. Take part in Auburn's many traditions such as taking a trip to downtown Auburn to get a Toomer’s Lemonade or visit the corner where the Auburn Tigers roll the oaks after a big win.  Both Auburn and Opelika are great places for shopping and dining. Additional family attractions include bowling, movie theatres, a pinball arcade, escape rooms, axe-throwing and more!

Refund and Payment Policies

Team payment is due by January 3, 2025. Any team unpaid by payment due date will be removed from the registered team list without notification and their spot will be offered to a team on the waitlist. This is necessary due to the need for teams to make travel plans.

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

We are unable to offer refunds to teams that have completed payment. In the event the EP Needs to cancel this event after payment has been made, that money can be applied to a future SCORE event.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

We are unable to offer refunds for this event. Because of this, teams should wait to make payment until they are certain they can and want to attend while being mindful of the payment due date. Any team unpaid by payment due date will be removed from the registered team list without notification.

If a team has to withdraw from competition after payment is made, SCORE can consider transferring the registration fee to another SCORE hosted event.
