Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

Below is the anticipated schedule for the tournament day. Please note that final times will be confirmed closer to the event.

• 7:30AM - 8:30AM: Check In and Inspection
• 8:00AM - 12:00AM: Robot Skills fields are Open
• 8:45AM - 9:15AM: Opening Ceremony
• 9:15AM - 12:00PM: Qualification Rounds Begin
• 12:00PM - 12:30PM: Lunch Break
• 12:30PM - 1:30PM: Final Qualification Rounds and Skills
• 1:30PM - 2:30PM: Finals Matches
• 2:30PM - 3:00PM: Awards Presentation

Food Options

Local food trucks will be onsite to provide lunch for purchase. Bringing outside food is allowed and we recommend all teams bring drinks and snacks for the day, however we encourage you to support local business by ordering from the onsite trucks.

The following food trucks will available: 

• Cyprus Coffee Cart (morning)
• Hungry Bear Mini Donuts (morning)
• 5280 Tacos (lunch)
• Georgia Boys BBQ (lunch) 

In addition to the food trucks, concessions will be available with snacks run by the Trail Ridge Student Council and National Junior Honors Society

Voluntario

We are looking for 1 Volunteer from each participating Team. These volunteers help make sure the tournaments run smoothly.

In case of severe weather, as determined by SVVSD, the tournament will be Rescheduled.Please be ready to work with us as we determine a new date!

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be available up to two weeks prior to the event, minus the $5.00 non-refundable RobotEvents fee.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Withdrawing from the tournament? Refunds will be available up to two weeks prior to the event, minus the $5.00 non-refundable RobotEvents fee.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Our submission deadline is Monday, February 24th @ 4PM MST.
