Información general

The Pioneer VEX IQ Pioneer Winter Classic is a blended elementary and middle school event.  We plan on having at least 2 match fields, a skills field, and one practice field.

This event will take place at Elyria High School in our perforing arts center on stage. Students will be served lunch and a full concession stand will be available all day.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Política de emergencia/mal tiempo

Coaches will be contacted via email or phone based on the registration information in the event of a cancellation due to inclement weather. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: refunds will only be issued if the event is cancelled minus the $5 REC processing fee.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: registration fees will not be refunded.

Judging Format

 

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
