Información general
The Ysleta ISD, along with the Career and Technical Education Department and JM Hanks High School Robotics Team, is thrilled to host the Annual Superintendent's Cup. The competition will be an exclusive Invitational Event for YISD Elementary Schools. We anticipate an exciting day filled with competition and innovation. Please come prepared with batteries, chargers, and your license plates.
Lunch: A working lunch is scheduled. It is highly recommended to pick up lunch or have it delivered to the Central Office.
No concessions will be available.
Make sure you are marked as paid (or PO received) two weeks in advance, or you may be replaced with a team from the waitlist.
Check in will be at 8:00 am, sharp. Teams must be checked in 60 minutes prior to the start of the Teamwork matches so that the match schedule may be printed. Teams must contact the event partner if they are running late or they will be removed from the team list for the event.
Teams must be paid by January 15. Teams not paid at this time will be moved to the waiting list.
Participation and Consent Form: It is imperative that all participants complete this form online prior to the event. The form is available at robotevents.com.

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.
For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

8:45 AM Practice Round and Teamwork Qualification Matches Begin (6-10 matches per team)

If the event must be canceled due to bad weather, it will be rescheduled for the next acceptable date.
No refunds.
No team swaps two weeks before the event.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event, Teams will be given a choice of moving to another event sponsored by the Event Partner, or a refund minus $5 will be provided.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend, There is no refund. However, the event partner will do their best to accommodate moving the team to another event they are hosting. Event Partner will only allow for one date change.
Webcast
The JM Hanks High School A/V Production Team will be broadcasting the event.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date. Engineering Notebooks will be due January 20.
