 Oliver Hoover is happy  to host the Vex IQ 2021-2022 game Pitching In. 

Due to COVID, we cannot allow spectators that are not parents nor participants.

 

At the moment, ALL attendees (students, volunteers, coaches, parent spectators) MUST WEAR A MASK that covers both mouth and nose at ALL TIMES.  The school reserves the right to disqualify teams and remove violators from the premises.  This event has voluntary participation and is provided by a non-governmental, private institution. This policy exists to protect the health and safety of students; please do not attend if you feel you cannot abide by this requirement. These guidelines may change to adhere to the most current CDC, State, and MDCPS guidelines.

Check in will be at 8:30am sharp. (Doors open at 8:30am)

8:45-9:15 AM Opening Remarks & Driver meeting

9:15-11:30AM Robot Skills Challenge 3 Attempts for Autonomous & 3 Attempts for Driver Skills (Time Permitting)

10:00 AM Pizza Pre-Order Form due to the Concession Stand

11:30-12:00 PM Qualification Matches Begin

12:00-12:30 PM LUNCH

12:30-3:00 PM Qualification Matches

3:30 PM Finals & Awards

DRIVERS MUST WEAR GOGGLES & DRIVER BADGES AT EVERY MATCH

Volunteer

Your help is welcome to make this event fun and exciting for all students.  Volunteers should email our event cordinator at imejia@dadeschools.net if they would like to participate.  We will reply ASAP, and thanks in advance!! There are lots of different roles that need to be filled. 

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of severe weather like a hurricane, this event will be CANCELLED and your registrations refunded. Weather notices or information about a possible cancellation will be posted here on robotevents.com.  Please inform your team and parents to check here for official updates. Make sure your team's contact information is up-to-date in robotevents.com in the event we need to contact your team.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be issued in the case of an event cancellation or COVID-19 related issue or quarantine. Please only register robots/teams that intend to attend. Due to the limited space for events, we will not issue a refund for a 'no show.'
