Thank you for choosing to join us on Saturday, March 16, 2024 for our 2nd Annual Palmetto Panther Aerial Drone Competition!

UPDATE 3/13/2024: The Competition Logbooks Deadline has been extended. Printed copies are accepted as well.

Judging for Communications Mission:

  •  In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be in person at the event.
  • Digital Submission of Competition Logbooks: Competition Logbooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The notebooks need to be submitted no later than 8am on March 16, 2024. 

Reminder to Teams:

  • Bring safety glasses for all Flight Team members.

 

Southeast Update 11.3.203

  • This event is located in the Southeast Region which includes:  Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. 

  • Teams who are from the Southeast Region and earn a qualifying award at this event will be invited to the Southeast Regional Championship - in Jackson, Mississippi  at the Mississippi Coliseum on April 12-13, 2024.

  • The award(s) that qualify for an invitation to the above regional championship will be found on the awards tab by December 1, 2024.   Additional invitations may be issued by January 12th based on the number of teams and events in the region.

Please note: If you are a team from outside this region, you may attend the event and will be eligible to earn awards and post scores to the global skills rankings, but you are not eligible to earn invitations to regional championships from this event.

All cancellations will be communicated through email.

Please check your email the day before and the morning of the tournament (before leaving).

Unfortunately, there will be no make-up in case of severe weather cancellations.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels/postpones the event: 

  • A refund of the registration fee per paid team minus any fees accessed by the REC Foundation  will be issued,

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: 

  • No refund will be issued.
