2300: <SG10> Alliance wall stake protection

<SG10>

<SG10> states that Robots may not directly or indirectly interact with the opponent’s Alliance Wall Stake, does this encompass incidental contact with the side of the field perimeter that the stake is connected to which may cause a ring that is scored on the stake to fall off? Following on, if robot interaction in the corners of the field cause the ring(s) to fall off, are there any violations and to which team/alliance?

Example: RED1 scores a ring onto their alliance wall stake, but the ring is not fully below the compliant barb. As per <SC3>, this is considered scored but during a later period in the match, BLUE1 bumps into the perimeter on the red alliance's side of the field, causing the red ring to fall off the wall stake. Is this a violation of <SG10>, or does the reason for bumping into the wall need to be considered?

Incidental or intentional contact with the Field Perimeter does not count as indirectly interacting with the opponent's Alliance Wall Stake, and is not prohibited by any rule.
