Are you allowed to modify the gear boxes? As in, are you allowed to either totally remove the gearboxes; from the V5 motors, and run without them or modify the gearboxes so that they have a different gear ratio?
I know we can swap between the blue, green, and red gearboxes. However, can we open up a gearbox cartridge and modify their contents?
Per rule <R20d>, "... the gear cartridges found within the V5 Smart Motor are considered “part of the motor”. Therefore, any physical or functional modifications to official gear cartridges is not permitted."
