There is some confusion around whether it is legal to: 1: use a motor without an official motor cartridge and instead making a VRC legal adapter in order to achieve 3600 rpm without any external gearing. 2. use a motor that forgoes the use of the motor cap and instead making a VRC legal mounting plate that uses the screws used to hold the motor cap to the motor body.
Could you please clarify these two questions.
