Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

In the event additional volunteers are needed on the day of the event, the Event Partner will request assistance from teams present.

Richtlinie für not-/schlechtwettersituationen

All teams will be notified via email (at least 24 hours in advance if possible) should the event be cancelled due to incelment weather or natural disaster.

 

Teams should make sure their contact information is up to date in Robotevents and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.

Refund and Payment Policies

No refunds after 1/15/24 unless we can fill your spot with another team from the Waiting List.

You will need to pay in advance prior to the event by 1/5/24 or your spot may be forfeited.

Any refunds will be processed after the event at the Event Partner's discretion.

Registration contains a $5 RobotEvents processing fee that is not refundable.

Teams are responsible for their own transportation and hotel expenses.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
