Allgemeine information

Redwood Robotics is delighted to host the Second Annual Redwood Choo Choo Winter Tournament. The event will be open to 38 teams. This event will be limited to six teams per organization.

Check in will be at 7:30 am, sharp. Teams must be checked in 15 minutes prior to the start of the qualification matches so that the match schedule may be printed. Teams must contact the event partner if they are running late or they will be removed from the team list for the event. Judgind will be in-person with digital submission of Engineering notebooks; refer to Judging format for online submission deadlines.

Teams must be paid by February 2. Teams not paid at this time will be moved to the waiting list.

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Bad weather should not affect this event. In case of a cancellation, the event partner will contact you as early as possible. Teams should make sure their contact information in Robotevents.com is up to date and includes both school (if applicable) and non-school phone numbers

Refund and Payment Policies

Teams who have registered but have not paid by 02/02/2024 will be moved to the Waiting List. No refunds after 02/02/2024 unless we can fill your spot with another team from the Waiting List.

Teams that have not checked in 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the qualifying matches will be dropped from the roster so that the match list may be run.

Registration contains a $5 RobotEvents processing fee that is not refundable.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Engineering notebooks MUST be submitted by Wednesday, Feb 7, 2023.
