Allgemeine information

We'll run this event similar to last year. It will take place in our Aula. It will feature in-person judging, Skills, and Alliance selection / elimination tournament at the end. We will award the Excellence Award to the top robot team. 

Lunch will be available in our canteen and can be billed to your school on a per-person cost. 

If the winner of the Excellence Award is a Swiss Team, they will receive an invitation to the VEX Worlds. Non-Swiss teams cannot qualify from this event to the Worlds. If the Excellence team is not from Switzerland, than the invitation will go to the Swiss Team that scores highest in Skills.

Code of Conduct

Schedule Agenda for Robomesse 2024

Please note that Judges will need the digital notebooks to be uploaded by 9:00 am on Wednesday, Feb 28. These should be linked to your team’s details on Robot Events. You will then receive your notebook score and feedback at the Robomesse Tourney on Friday, March 1. 

For the interviews to fit in, we will do these teams (via video conference)  on Wed, Feb 28: 

ISLausanne A and B.

We will do these teams (via video conference) on Thursday, Feb 29. 

ISBasel A, C, D, X, and Z

For all remaining teams, your interview times will be in person at Robomesse, on Friday, at these times:

8:40 am: Le Rosey A

8:50 am : Le Rosey B

9:00 am: EAGrizzly

9:10 am: EAGlet

9:20 am Aiglon A

9:30 am:Aiglon B

10: 15 am: Delulu

10:45: more qualification matches and Begin Skills

1:00 pm: More qualification matches and more skills

2:30: Skills only

3:00 Alliance Selection More matches and Alliance selection. 

3:20: Elimination Matches.

If there is horrendous snow or apocolypse, we will cancel. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

We will return all fees. 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

With enough warning (maybe one month), we can likely return any fees.

Judging Format

 

 

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
