The Utah VRC State Championship has been granted 4 VRC High School World Championship spots.

If a team double-qualifies for a World Championship spot, the  next highest ranking team from the State Championship Skills Rankings receives the invitation. 

World Championship qualifying awards and invitations are issued to teams whether or not the teams have expressed an intention to attend the event. Unaccepted World Championship invitations are not offered or transferred to other teams.

We look forward to all participants this year at the Utah High School VRC State Championship.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

* Each team will be given THREE attempts at both Robot Skills Challenge or Programming Skills. Attempts not used for one skill cannot be used for the other.

All approved events and event attendees are required to follow all local, state, federal, or any other government ordinances regarding COVID-19 safety procedures, social distancing, and best hygiene practices. Event hosts should continually assess, based on current government guidelines, whether to postpone, cancel, or significantly reduce the number of attendees when necessary.

Judging Format

 

This event will have the following types of Judging: Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The submission deadline is 3/4/24 at 8 am mountain time.
