Allgemeine information

Placer Robotics League, VRC HS Over Under Division, is for teams in Placer County and Greater Sacramento - the league is by invite only. Please register into the Waitling list to be considered for this league.

August 16th update: we have split the MS/HS into separate league nights.  Our current HS Capacity is 22 teams in order to run the league out of our new Robotics Center opening in Fall of 2023.  As of August 18, we have 18 teams committed to the high school league.

Here’s is how the league works:

Qualifiers (Ranking Sessions) – Teams must compete in at least 60% of the following qualifying events.  All teams are encouraged to participate in all three dates if possible

League Championship - This is the season finale and will run as a bracketed tournament! Teams will be ranked according to their season records. Alliance selection will be based on rankings. A league champion will be crowned as well as State qualifiers. Multiple judged awards will be presented as well.

Skills will be offered and on an independent field when space is available.  Teams will be guaranteed at least 3 attempts of each during the duration of the league.

There may not be dedicated practice fields - show up with your robots ready to start matches.

League Dates (Final - updated as of Nov 7)

10/26/2023 - Session 1

12/14/2023 - Session 2

1/18/2024 - Session 3

Please note: all events will receive state championship award bids based on the REC Foundation Qualifying Criteria. As such, this event must meet all requirements for a Qualifying Event to receive bids to the state championship released in July 2023.
