Texas Region 4 HS Skills Only at Lake Travis

NOTE: Register by adding your team(s) to the waiting list.  Teams must not have qualified for the Region 4 Championship.  The event planner will then select which teams can compete, with the following receiving top priority:

  • Teams that have not competed this season will be guaranteed entry into the event
  • Priority will be given to teams that have completed fewer skills rounds during the season

Teams will be added to the event based upon the above criteria. The tournament will be divided into 3 sessions, each with 8 teams using 2 competition and 1 practice field to complete up to 3 driver and 3 programming runs. Teams added to the event will receive an email confirmation with a link to sign-up for a specific time session. Please visit the agenda page for more information.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

Each session will have 8 teams using 2 fields to complete up to 3 driver and 3 programming runs. Trials will be completed in a specific order, but teams will have the option to pass and use their next allotted trial time. Teams may leave at any point during their session once they are satisfied with their scores.

This event will be a relaxed environment with very few volunteers needed. Teams will be expected to reset the field after each of their runs.

If bad weather was to occur, use your own descretion on attending the event.  If an event is cancelled and we are not able to reschedule the event we will refund your tournament fee minus the $5 which is paid to RECF on registration.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

We will refund your tournament fee minus the $5 which is paid to RECF on registration.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Refunds will be given for cancellations sent to [email protected] prior to the registration deadline. The refund will be the registration fee minus the $5 collected by RECF at payment.

Any fee associated with the method of payment (such as a credit card surcharge) will not be refunded.
