Welcome to our event, "Robot Showdown."

We will have two competition fields, one Skills field, and a practice field for our tournament.  

All team members attending this event are required to submit the online consent form through Robot Events

Doors will open at 7:00AM.  Registration and inspection will be from 7:30AM - 8:30AM. 

Teams must pay before the event in order to participate in the event.

This will be an all in-person judging contest. 

Notebooks will be judged digitally and must be submitted via robotevents.com

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

Check in and inspection are from 7:30 to 8:30.

Driver's meeting at 8:35.

Tournament starts at 9:00.

We hope to have prelims done by 2:30.

Alliance selection around 3:00.

Semi-Finals around 3:20

Awards by 4:15.

Should we need to cancel the competition due to bad weather or emergencies, we will reschedule the competition.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Event will be rescheduled.  If unable to reschedule, a refund minus the $5 Robot Events processing fee will be given

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

There will not be a refund available. 

Judging Format

 Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
