It's time for the Trinity Academy's inagural Knight Battle!

Please come prepared for the event by reviewing the game rules and the inspection checklist.  VEX participants are encouraged to complete the VRC Drive Team Training Course which can be found here: https://v5rc-kb.recf.org/hc/en-us/articles/9652732380055-VEX-V5-Robotics-Competition-Drive-Team-Training-Course-2024-25-High-Stakes

Concessions will be available throughout the day.  A lunch option can be purchased as well.

Participation and Consent Forms must be completed for each participant and turned in online through the REC website.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

9:00 AM - Drivers meeting and announcements
9:15 AM - Qualification rounds, Skills Challenge, and Judging
11:30 AM - Lunch break and Skills Challenge
12:30 PM - Qualification rounds, Skills Challenge, and Judging
3:00 PM - Alliance selection
3:15 PM - Elimination rounds
4:15 PM - Awards Ceremony
4:30 PM - Tournament concludes

Volunteers are welcome to assist.  We will provide training for those helping with the event. Student volunteers will be used for field reset.  Please visit the Tournament Volunteer Website or contact Steve Smith at [email protected] for more information.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled.

 

Refund and Payment Policies

The payment deadline is Friday, January 10th.  Teams registering after this date must pay at the time of registration.  Any team who has not paid by this date may be moved to the waitlist and their spot given to another team. 

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

No refunds will be issued unless the event is cancelled due to weather and cannot be rescheduled. In the event of a cancellation, team regitration fees will be refunded less the $5.00 non-refundable RECF administration fee.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No refund will be issued if the registration is withdrawn after making payment.

Reiseinformationen

All participants and spectators should enter the main entrance by the flagpole. Buses should park in the parent drop-off/pick-up lane or on the street.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging: the Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
