Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.
For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

If your status is listed as "Unpaid," "Pending," or anything other than "Paid," you will be contacted via email and asked to provide proof of credit card payment or an approved purchase order (e.g., a scanned image or PDF of the PO). If you fail to provide proof of payment by noon on Saturday, November 9, 2024 (one week before the competition), your team(s) will be moved to the waitlist, and your spot(s) will be offered to other teams.

Refunds will only be issued if the event partner cancels the event, minus a $5.00 processing fee incurred by the REC Foundation.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and later decides to withdraw or not attend, no refund will be issued.
Health and Safety Policies
As the season changes and temperatures drop, it's not uncommon to find yourself sneezing and coughing. Four viruses that can put a damper on fall activities are the flu, the common cold, COVID-19, and RSV (respiratory syncytial virus). To that end, teams are asked to use basic health and hygiene practices throughout the Carrollwood Clash VEX V5 Robotics Competition. Anyone who is not feeling well is advised not to participate in the event.
