All event registration fees must be paid two weeks before the event or your team will be moved to the waitlist.

  • Spectators are allowed
  • This is a 100% standard event with standard judging
  • All notebooks must be physical, meaning digital notebooks need to be printed out and bound ahead of time

There will be a small (snack and drink) concession stand as well as food trucks (a pizza truck & a taco truck) during the lunch break.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Tentative Schedule

7:30 am - Doors Open

7:30 am - 8:30 am Inspection

8:30 am - Driver's Meeting & Opening Ceremonies

8:45 am -  Skills Field Opens

9:00 am - Qualification Matches Begin

11:30 pm - Lunch Break (90 Minutes)  *The skills field will be open from 12-1 PM, judge interviews will be ongoing from 12-1 PM *

1:00 pm - Qualification Matches resume

3:00 pm - End of Qualification Matches/Skills Field Closes  *The skills field will close immediately when qualification matches end. There will not be a cutoff in the line.* 

3:15 pm - Alliance Selection

3:30 pm - Elimination Matches

5:00 pm - Award Presentations

This event will take place in the Carroll High School STEAM Center. Please park in the back of the school and enter through the STEAM entrance.

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
