North Clarion presents our annual VRC tournament for the VRC 'High Stakes" season for Western Pennsylvania.

This event will be locked for Western PA Region Teams ONLY unless all spots have not been filled by the registration deadline.  If your team is outside our region, it will be added to the waitlist until that time as to if it will be open for teams outside our region.

All in-person judging. Please bring a hard copy of your Engineering Design Notebook.

*This event is FREE to PA Rural Robotics Member Schools.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

  • 7:30 AM Doors Open

  • 7:30 - 8:45 AM Inspections

  • 7:45 AM Skills Start (Each team gets a maximum of 3 runs each per drive and autonomous)

  • 9:00 AM Drivers Meeting

  • 9:15 - 11:30 PM Qualifying Matches

  • 11:30 - 12:15 PM Lunch Break

  • 12:15 - 1:30 PM Qualifying Matches Continued

  • 1:30 PM Skills Field closes

  • 1:30-1:45 PM Alliance Selection

  • 1:45 - 2:30 PM Finals

  • 2:45 PM Awards Ceremony

  • 3:15 PM Clean up
