The 2025 South Carolina VRC Middle School State Championship looks forward to welcoming you to the ulitmate competition in South Carolina.
Invitations to the state championship will be sent to the email listed as the primary contact for the qualifying team. Upon invitation you will have two weeks to accept before the opportunity is lost. Please ensure your registration fee has been paid at least two weeks before the tournament or your spot will be lost.
The state championship offers qualifing spots to the VRC World Championship in Dallas, Texas. It is important to note teams will only have one week to register and pay for their spot to the VRC World Championship or forfeit their position.
Picture with layout of school grounds posted. Buses must use entrance C. Drop of students in the bus loop by door "3" Cafeteria. Cafeteria is where the crew pits are located. All other vehicles use entrance A and come through door "3".

Lunch options. Within 5 minutes driving distance: Subway, Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Chili's.
No food or drinks in the Event Arena (gym). Because MS Crew pits are located in the Auxilliary Gym and food spillage, please be respectful and as much as possible avoid open liquid containers and food spillage.

Volunteering for the premier VEX VRC event in our beatiful state is a great opportunity to experience driven, passionate, and academic excelling robotics teams that compete for the ultimate prize of going to WORLDS VEX competition in Dallas. We will follow the guidelines of all state and local officials concerning the weather. If the tournament must be cancelled due to weather, it will be rescheduled at a later date.
Refund and Payment Policies
The intent is for the State Finals to take place. Barring an unforseen event (i.e. pandemic, state closure), State Finals will be postponed, but not cancelled by the organizers. If event will be cancelled, then all teams will be refunded the registrations price minus $5.
All registered teams must pay within three weeks of their registration.
If the registered team cancels their participation, there will be no refund.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams must submit an electronic copy of their digital notebook by Tuesday, March 4 by 11:59 p.m. Upload the link on robotevents.com. Under "My Account" click on the Digital Engineering Notebook icon of your state finals participating team. Make sure the link is giving only "Viewing" rights of the file. Preferred format of the file: PDF. Digital notebook is the format used at Worlds, hence all teams must submit a electronic/digital copy of their engeneering notebook.
Physical copies of notebooks will not be considered or accepted.
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Submission deadline: Tuesday, March 4 by 11:59 p.m.
