Allgemeine information

Purdue SIGBots is excited to host the Purdue SIGBots Slam and Jam VexU Qualifier! We will be hosting the competition at the Purdue Armory. For years now, we have been trying to bring the best competition experience to VexU teams that we can, and we continue to push forward this year. We have a long history as one of the most competitive VexU competitions in the world and are working to bring even more this year to raise the stakes.

Purdue's VexU Team, ACM SIGBots, will be in attendance and welcomes all teams who are coming to have fun and compete.

Whether you are a new team or veteran team, we welcome you to join us!

Thank you to all teams in attendance for helping to support the Purdue ACM SIGBots.

Please join the wait list. If we have space to expand, that is where we will draw from first.

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

Judging Format

This event will feature a hybrid judging model, with Digital Notebook Submissions and In-Person interviews of teams. We have prepared resources for students to prepare on the Purdue SIGBots Wiki found here: https://wiki.purduesigbots.com/the-judging-process/the-design-process

Notebook Submission

Notebooks will need to be submitted digitally through robotevents.com. The deadline to submit a notebook is by the end of the day March 2nd.

Team Interviews

Each team will have an in-person interview. This format will be announced at the event, but will likely follow a format similar to the state championship. Some teams may be called to secondary interviews with judges.
