1740: VEX EXP Wheels

<R6>Can VEX EXP wheels be used in VRC competitions? I noticed a post in previous years regarding the legality of the smaller wheels, however can not locate anything specific to them in general. I can not locate them separately on the website either to cross reference. I am assuming they are not legal because they can only be purchased as part of an EXP kit.

Per clause A of rule <R6>:

Products from the VEXpro, VEX EXP, VEX IQ, VEX GO, VEX 123, or VEX Robotics by HEXBUG* product lines cannot be used for Robot construction, unless specifically allowed by a clause of <R7> or “cross-listed” as part of the VEX V5 Product lines.

There are currently four types of wheel in the VEX EXP kits: 1.75" balloon tire & hub, 2.75" balloon tire & hub, 3.25" omni wheel, and 3.25" anti-static wheel.

The 3.25” omni wheel and 3.25” anti-static wheel are cross-listed on the VEX Robotics website as being legal for use on VRC Robots.

The 1.75” and 2.75” balloon tires and their hubs are not cross-listed on the above linked page, or anywhere as part of the V5 product line, and are not legal for use on VRC Robots.
