Robot Skills: Goal Touching Floor

This question was answered considering match play where if a goal touches the floor (outside the field) before the last 30 seconds it should be returned to the field.

What happens during skills if a goal (usually the tall goal, on a non-raised field) falls over and touches the floor outside the field (but not touch the field perimeter), but still meets the definition of "elevated"

  • Contacting the platform
  • Platform is balanced
  • Not contacting foam tiles or field perimeter

Should the goal that touches the floor be removed and returned to play? What about during the final few seconds of the match? Does the goal touching the outside of the field cause the platform to become un-balanced?
