2013: Is corner guarding considered possessing?

<SG6>

In the game manual, under SG6, it states that: Possessing two or more mobile goals in a single corner is a "clearly intentional" violation. The definition of possession is: Possession – A Robot / Scoring Object status. A Scoring Object is considered Possessed by a Robot if a Robot’s change in direction would result in controlled movement of the Scoring Object. This typically requires at least one of the following to be true: • The Scoring Object is fully supported by the Robot. • The Robot is moving the Scoring Object in a preferred direction with a concave face of the Robot (or inside of a concave angle formed by multiple mechanisms/faces of the Robot). • The Robot is holding the Scoring Object against the Floor or a Field Element.

My question is: Can a team be possessing one mobile goal inside of their robot and be guarding another mobile goal in the corner? As long as the robot doesn't touch that mobile goal? Or, if robot is guarding a mobile goal in a corner, can it not be possessing another mobile goal? What if the robot is not contacting a single mobile goal, but is restricting access to two or more mobile goals?

My question is: Can a team be possessing one mobile goal inside of their robot and be guarding another mobile goal in the corner?

Yes. This would be legal, because the Mobile Goal in the Corner is not being Possessed by the Robot.
