GPS is not in the game manual, but I see it is available for purchase, along with strips and the portable field. Will it be used in either the competition or skills in Spin Up?

The VEX GPS Sensor is considered the same as any other legal V5 sensor - that is, Teams are welcome to use it if they wish, but they are not required to do so.

Appendix B states the following:

In Programming Skills Matches, the VEX GPS code strip must be installed on the field.

Programming Skills Matches are the only type of Matches in which the code strip is required to be installed on the field. Event Partners may choose to install the code strip on the field for other types of Matches, but they are not required to do so.
