Event Description
The Trinity Robotics team is inviting teams throughout New England to compete in one of the early tournaments featuring the new VRC game, Sack Attack. Team 40 is hosting the Trinity High School Granite State Vex Robotics Tournament on November 3, 2012. The tournament will be held in the Trinity High School McHugh gym and will feature 2 competition fields as well as a practice/skills field.
This event is a “Level 1” Qualifying event for the 2013 VEX Robotics World Championship. In addition to sending the Excellence Award Winner to the World Championship, this event is a New England Regional Qualifier. Teams that win Excellence, Design, Tournament Champion, or Tournament Finalist Awards will qualify to attend 2 of 3 New England Regional Championship events. In addition to these award winners, all teams advancing to Quarterfinals will be invited to attend the New England Regional Championship Events. Directions to Trinity High School:
From I-93N: Exit 8 (Bridge St/Wellington Rd.) Bear right at the exit – Go through two stop lights- THS will be on your immediate left.
From Route 3N: Go through tolls at Bedford – Take a right onto 293 East (Portsmouth/Seacoast) – Pass the Mall of NH and bear left onto I-93N – follow directions above for I 93N to Exit 8.
From the seacoast and Route 101W: continue past Exit 1 on Route 101 and bear right onto I-93N. Exit 8, the Bridge St./Wellington Rd. off ramp, is the first exit. Head west towards Mammoth Rd and Bridge St. Go through two stop lights- THS will be on your immediate left.
Parking
The competition will be held in the gym. The pit area is also in the gym. Load-in is through the front doors of the McHugh Gym. There will be several individuals directing traffic on the day of the competition.
Please note that the school is not handicap accessible. Let us know if we need to make suitable accommodations.
