We're looking to give everyone at least 5 qualification matches and getting at least 18 teams (6 of 3) into finals. Match schedules will be handed out during the driver's meeting. In order to stay on schedule, we will be asking that teams check the pit display(s) and stay on top of their match times - switching between two fields, the next match should start as soon as the last match is given the all clear. At the very least, make sure you have a representative from your team at the field with their controller(s) plugged in before you hear that obnoxious warning for the gates to be up. Expect to work through lunch if this doesn't happen.

Qualifying:
Four awards will qualify for the World Championship (The US National event is filled). They will be given to the three tournament champions and the excellence award winner. We are not judging the excellence award as the overall excellence award or state excellence award - anyone from anywhere is eligible. Don't forget to bring your notebooks and see notes about skills below.

Skills:
We are only going to offer skills challenges to those who would like to get their scores uploaded for a chance to win the spot in the international skills competition. Consequently, participation in skills challenges will not be a requirement for the excellence award at this event and will not be recognized at the awards ceremony. If you'd like a shot at skills challenges, please let that be known during registration so that we may schedule a time. An open practice field will be setup in lieu of a skills field.

Awards:
In addition to the qualifying awards (i.e. the big trophies), we will also have five judged awards and several certificates to hand out. We have plates for Design, Build, Amaze, Energy, Judges, and Think. In case you did the math, we're going to give trophies for the five most relevant categories.

Location:
For those new to East Brunswick, just drive around the school until you see the cafeteria with the big VEX sign on the outside. Park nearby and walk on in.

Food: (please help support the hosting team)
- coffee & tea via k-cups/bags along with muffins for breakfast.
- Soda & water along with snacks and pizza for lunch.
- Pizza orders will be taken in the morning - looking at $10 a pie

- 9:30 1st qualifying match goes ding
- 12:00 lunch/alliance scouting/VIP lunch presentation
- 12:30 alliance selection
- 12:45 elimination matches begin/awards handed out between matches
- 3:30 closing award ceremony
