Event Description

This SUNDAY event is planned to allow a number our new teams a chance to compete. It will also serve as a last chance for teams headed to World Championship to hone their strategies before leaving for California. There is no registration fee, but we ask that teams either register through robot events or contact scidkelly@simplerobotics.org. New teams are STRONGLY encouraged to register your team(s) with http://robotevents.com/robotevents/wizard/ before signing up for the event, but all will be welcome - if you have a robot, come play.

We hope that this will benefit experienced teams and they can help the new teams to become part of the VEX community.

This is meant to be a low-key fun-filled event. Whole pizzas will be available for order for lunch. PLEASE contact us if you register, but then for some reason you can not attend the event!

Other Information

This is not a qualifying event and no awards will be presented. The intent is for new teams to learn how a VEX competition works and established teams to have another chance to play the Gateway game!

There will be no robot inspection, but we expect that the teams will meet the Gateway inspection criteria. There will be a possibility that some collegiate-level teams may attend, but they will be held in accordance with the High School division rules, with the exception made that post-secondary students can be operators .
