-Meet real robots built by local high schools for the FIRST competition

MIT Media Lab - Robotics Group
Angela Chang is a Miami girl who left for MIT in 1993 and has had great success there. She is now at the MIT Media Lab. The Media Lab is the famous source of many of MIT’s most creative spin-off companies including the i-robot company, the guitar hero company, the zip car company, the one laptop per child company and many more. It is also the home of ground breaking technologies that are changing the world such as video conferencing, digital paper, and e-readers.

US FIRST - Director for Florida
US FIRST is a non-profit group co-founded by MIT Prof Woody Flowers that organizes robot building competitions for high school teams which teach students about engineering. Mr Kennedy is in charge of FIRST activities in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.
