Event Description
The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) has a long history of involvement with robotics competitions including hosting the annual Southern Maryland Senior Division VEX championship. This year we're excited and ready for the first ever CSM Robotics Challenge - Collegiate Division! There are 2 tournaments planned this year to kick off the collegiate competition, one in the Fall and one in the Spring.
The event will be held at the beautiful La Plata Campus in historic Southern Maryland, just a short drive or Metrorail ride to Washington D.C. This competition is open to any college team who wishes to compete at the college level.
CSM's new college team, the Talons, is at work taking on the challenge of this season's new game, Sack Attack. Whether you are a veteran team, or if this is your first competition, we welcome you to join us!
We will also have engineers from the NAVEODTECHDIV with some of their Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) robots. Come on over and check them out and take them for a test drive!

Our special guests from Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NAVEODTECHDIV) will be on hand with the state-of-the-art military EOD robots. Teams are invited to visit and test-drive the robots.
