VEX U takes the VEX Robotics Competition to the next level for university students (ages 18+).
VEX U students have to conquer the same game, Toss Up, but with a few twists. They need build two different sized innovative robots that work together to score the most points possible in qualification matches, elimination matches and Skills Challenges. In addition to having a great time and building amazing robots, through their participation in VEX U, students get to apply the theoretical STEM knowledge they learn in their college courses, while picking-up many of the academic and life skills necessary to excel in the workforce.
Registration for a VEX U team costs $100. Additional teams from the same schools can register for $50. Tournament entry fees vary by event.
The VEX U game for the 2013-2014 season is VEX Toss Up, and was revealed at the 2013 VEX Robotics Competition World Championship.
