On Friday, August 7, UNT and Texas BEST will host BEST teacher training at
the UNT Discovery Park, 5 miles north of the UNT main campus in Denton, Tx.
The address is 3940 n elm street. The training is open to teachers, mentors,
and other persons active as volunteers in BEST robotics. If you register for
the training, further directions, parking instructions, and a specific
schedule will be provided. The session will start at 8 AM with coffee and a
welcome and the last "class" will conclude by 5 pm (It will not be necessary
to attend all classes to receive CEUs as below). The specific training
sessions and the teaching entity will include:

Other Information

There is no cost to attend and Continuing education units (CEUs) will be awarded by UNT on the basis of 0.1 credit for each hour of training attended. The credits will also be free as the UNT College of Engineering Electrical Engineering Dept. will cover the cost. Lunch will be provided.

We feel that we can accomodate about 120 people for the training so the first 120 people to register can attend.
