This competition is part of the Utah State and Mountain Region.
As so, teams will be competing to qualify for the Utah State & Mountain Region Championship VRC (USMRC), 02/25/12. Tournament Champions, Tournament Finalist and Excellent Award winners will qualify and receive invitations for the USMRC. From the USMRC, five teams will qualify for VEX Worlds.

*Each team will be given two attempts at both the Robot Skills Challenge and the Programming Skills Challenge. One before lunch and one after. If time permits, a third attempt will be made available to each team.
