Event Description

ATTENTION World Championship-qualified teams from the Mid-Atlantic Region! This is a scrimmage for teams in the Mid-Atlantic Region who would like to get together and practice in a competitive environment before all of our robots need to be shipped off to Disney. This event is open only to teams who have qualified for, and plan to attend the 2011 VEX Robotics World Championship.

We will spend the day running matches on multiple fields, providing teams as many match plays as possible. It is a great opportunity to refine strategies and test your design one last time before heading to Disney! Competing against other teams has huge benefits over practicing at home alone with no competitors. It will be a very informal, fun day with lots of action.

New Addition!!! A very experienced local Judge Advisor has agreed to hold Warm-up for Judging at the Championship sessions at the scrimmage to help teams prepare for Judging in Disney! This 30 minute workshop will teach your students how they can be great ambassadors for their team.
